St. Josaphat's Fall Program Guide

Children – Catechesis

This class for pre-school aged children takes place during the 9:30 am Divine Liturgy, with children
leaving the Divine Liturgy at the Small Entrance and returning before Communion.

ST. JOSAPHAT SADOCHOK

An environment rich in Ukrainian language, culture, religion and fun. Bilingual and immersion
classes are offered and an afternoon program for children 4-5 years old. 

CHILDREN OF MARY

We invite all girls ages 7 and up to join Children of Mary. It is an opportunity for young girls to
participate in Sunday service through activities such as handing out bulletins, leading the rosary, and holding candles during the Gospel. Once-a-month meetings will include fun activities and will provide the opportunity for young girls to learn more about Mother Mary, who has set an example that all girls and young woman should strive to follow

ST. JOSAPHAT CATHEDAL CHOIR

Under the direction of Denise Lucyshyn, from September to June, the St. Josaphat Choir sings at
the 9:30 am Divine Liturgy (English) on the first Sunday of each month; and at the 11:00 am Divine Liturgy
(Ukrainian) on two Sundays of the month.

UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE OF CANADA – ST. JOSAPHAT BRANCH

The Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada (UCWLC) is the official association of women
laity of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada. It is a self-sustaining, non-political, non-profit, charitable
organization, which at all levels and through each individual member shall be in all its activities an expression of
commitment to Christian life. The UCWLC St. Josaphat Branch has been active at the Cathedral since 1944.
